When you play the EuroMillions game on the Islands Lotto site you are betting on the outcome of the EuroMillions draw. Islands Lotto is not connected or affiliated to the operator of EuroMillions and we are not buying a ticket for these lotteries on your behalf.
These Rules apply when You play EuroMillions Game. The Islands Lotto Terms and Conditions (the Terms), the Lottery Betting Rules and the Lottery Operator’s Rules apply in addition to these Rules.
1 Playing EuroMillions
1.1. EuroMillions lottery is managed by Services aux Lotteries en Europe and usually takes place on Tuesday and Friday evenings in Paris at approximately 21:00 CET, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
1.2. You can place a Bet on EuroMillions as late as the time announced in the Islands Lotto site before that night’s draw.
1.3. To play EuroMillions, you should fill in the interactive play slip for EuroMillions. Choose 5 numbers from the main pool of 1–50 and 2 further numbers from 1–12 (Lucky Stars). You can also select the Lucky Dip option and this will choose a line for you randomly. Once you have chosen your numbers, select which draw you want to play, either Tuesday or Friday, the number of weeks and press Play.
Once your bet has been accepted it will be shown as “Confirmed” in Your “Account” section. If the bet status is “Pending” your bet has not been placed, if your bet remains in a pending state for more than five minutes contact Islands Lotto Support.
2 Winnings
How to Win EuroMillions
2.1. If your EuroMillions bet matches any of the Prize categories in the table in 2.2 below, You will win a Prize in the highest relevant Prize category, subject to these Rules, the Terms and the Lottery Operator’s Rules.

Calculating EuroMillions Winnings
2.3. After the EuroMillions results are announced, winnings are calculated and uninsured prizes will be transferred to your Player Account. You will be notified by email or phone call in the event that you win an insured prize before any funds are applied to your account.This usually happens within 24 hours of the Draw.
2.4. Islands Lotto calculates the Winnings for each bet according to section 3 of the Lottery Betting Rules.
2.5. Results can be checked on the Islands Lotto website, and independently via the EuroMillions website.
2.6. All winnings generated by your EuroMillions bet will be paid to you equal to 100% of the total winnings as published on the Islands Lotto website (subject to change in the event of any technical faults identified in the systems of Islands Lotto or any third party systems used to generate prize amounts), after deduction of local taxes and any applicable administration fees. Deductions applied to Winnings
2.7. Winnings in Tier 1, 2, and 3 will be paid directly to you after funds have been received from our Insurance Partner according to the Lottery Betting Rules published on this site.
Jackpot cap
2.8. The maximum jackpot that can be won when placing a bet in EuroMillions through the Islands Lotto site is equivalent to €130 million, less any deductions and fees, see Lottery Betting Rules. If the Underlying Lottery exceeds this amount, Islands Lotto will only announce the Jackpot cap. This is a pool bet meaning the jackpot is shared if there are multiple winners, see lottery betting rules for example winning illustrations.
Administration Fee
2.9. Islands Lotto may, at its discretion, apply a 1% administration fee on the payout of tier 1,2 and 3 prizes.
What currency payments are made in
2.10. All Winnings are usually paid in the same currency of your bet, but may, at our discretion, be paid in an alternative major currency such as Euros, or US Dollar.
3 Game closures
3.1. Islands Lotto has the right to announce the closing date and time for EuroMillions Games at any time. No Bets for this Game will be sold after the closing date and time. The closing date and time will be accessible on the Site.
