Responsible Play

We want you to enjoy playing our draw-based games and instant win games and using our site.  We do not want to impose restrictions on how or when you play, but we ask that you consider your use of our site and the draw-based games and instant win games we offer in a responsible way.

Some things to consider:

Taking a break from play

Should you need to take a break from gambling, we provide a number of options to help you control your gambling including Self-Exclusion.

You can take a break from playing all draw-based games and instant win games by suspending your play for a 30 days in your account. Changes take effect immediately and access will be reinstated after one month.

If you feel that a 30 day break from play is not enough, you can repeat the suspension or you can contact us through the Help section or your account to work out a solution.

Alternatively if you feel you need a longer break from gambling you can choose to self-exclude:

Self-exclusion means that your Islands Lotto account will remain closed for a minimum period of six months, one year, three years or five years and will not be reactivated under any circumstances during the exclusion.

If you have purchased Lotto tickets in advance, these will be cancelled and the funds returned to your account balance. Any available refundable funds will be returned to you.

To self-exclude please contact Customer Service.

Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance on self-exclusion or other gambling tool.

Reviewing your play

By reviewing your account you can easily see how many draw-based games and instant win games you have played. You can also see how much you have spent and how much have won.

Playing our games should be fun but for some, it may become a problem.

You can set customised limits on certain player spending and play capabilities. This can be done in the 'My Account' section of the website when you are logged in. Select the ‘Limits’ area. Within this section, you can select 'Top Up Limit', ‘Spending Limit’ or ‘Play Limit’. In each section, you need to select the period of the limit and the amount, select ‘Se My Limit’.

If you're worried about yourself, or a person you know, you can speak to someone in confidence at GamCare on 0808 8020 133 or visit the GamCare website for assistance at http://www.gamcare.org.uk or Gambling Therapy at www.gamblingtherapy.org

You could also take the NODS-SA which is a self-assessment version of the NODS (the NORC Diagnostic Screen for Gambling Disorders). It was designed to assist individuals in evaluating whether to modify or seek help for their gambling behaviour. You can find it here: http://www.ncpgambling.org/help-treatment/screening-tools/
